Q: What makes you different from other dental practices?
A: First and foremost, our desire is for our patients to feel comfortable with the doctor, staff and office. We offer personalized care (see Concierge) that makes your visit to our office pleasurable.

Another difference you will see in our office from others is in our scheduling. Most dental practices double book and sometimes triple book a specified time slot. Our office is unique in that we DO NOT double or triple book appointments. Respecting the importance of your time, we only schedule one patient for a specified time slot. This scheduling allows you to know that when an appointment is scheduled, it is YOUR personal reserved time and belongs to no one else.

Finally, the doctor performs most procedures himself and is actively involved in procedures delegated to auxiliary personnel. This allows for a certain level of quality and expertise to be put into our dental work.

Because of our Concierge Service, our patient-first scheduling and active doctor participation, we believe you will be able to see the difference.

Q: Do you accept referrals?
A: Our office gladly accepts referrals of family and friends. We desire this office to be one in which you feel comfortable sending your family and friends to. Our office has grown over the years through the kind words of our patients. It is our honor to build close relationships and provide quality dentistry to those referred to us.

Q: My teeth are not as white as I would like. What are my options?
A: Whether it is for an upcoming wedding, speaking engagement, or just wanting a more youthful appearance, the color of your teeth can be lightened effectively and safely with tooth whitening. The American Dental Association states the best place to start teeth whitening is at the dental office. Here the dentist can diagnose the cause of the discoloration, evaluate possible side effects before whitening begins, and can choose the most effective method of whitening.

The most popular method is home whitening. Custom-made whitening trays are fabricated and the dentist selects and dispenses the appropriate concentration of whitening gel. The whitening trays are worn daily, usually for a maximum of two (2) hours, for approximately two (2) weeks.

In-office whitening can be done in about one hour. Zoom bleaching uses a special light that activates the bleaching gel placed on the teeth. In-office whitening is more effective if followed up with take home whitening trays.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your insurance for any work done in our office. We do accept most traditional and PPO insurance. We do not accept DMO coverage insurance. What you will notice is that our name is not listed in any insurance book as a provider. This is because we have not signed a contract with the insurance company that discounts or restricts the type of treatment we may do. Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. By not being a party to this contract or its restrictions, this allows us to have a relationship with you, our patient, and not the insurance company.

Q: What payment options do you provide?
A: We are committed to your treatment being successful. Payment of your bill is considered part of the treatment. Payment is due at the time of the service unless other arrangements have been made in advance in writing. We do accept cash, personal checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We do offer three(3) and six (6) month interest free payments with the CitiHealthcard. With your CitiHealthcard you can also finance your treatment for up to five(5) years.

Q: How long should my dental work last?
A: We take pride in any work that comes out of our office. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of dental care and satisfaction. We will stand behind the following treatment from our office for a period of one (1) year from the date of the service provided that the following is met:

You MUST maintain your regular 3, 4 or 6 month check-ups as recommended by our professional team. By maintaining these check-ups, we are able to detect any new or recurrent cavities in its earliest stages. We are also able to detect fractures on tooth structure or restorative materials before the fracture gets too large. Finally, we are able to maintain the foundation (gums and bones) of your mouth to ensure longevity of your natural teeth as well as with our dental work**

Crowns
If the porcelain chips, fractures or breaks we will repair or replace the crown at no cost to you.

Implants
All restorative aspects of an implant (abutments, crowns) placed by our office are covered. Any procedure associated with an implant NOT done by our office that results in the failure of an implant (i.e. surgical placement) are NOT covered.

Fillings
If any chip or fracture occurs, we will repair or replace the filling at no cost to you.

Sometimes a filling is placed thinking there is enough tooth structure to support the filling, when actually there is not. This can result in the tooth fracturing or breaking. If this does occur, we will credit the amount paid for the filling towards the cost of a buildup and crown, provided that you have maintained your regular check-ups as recommended by the dentist.

If dental treatment requires a dental specialist to be seen prior to crown placement(i.e. oral surgery, root canal, braces), this credit for the failed restoration cannot be applied towards treatment rendered by the specialist's office. This applies only to work done by our office at our office. Any specialist we refer to is not part of this agreement, in whole or in part.

** We understand that scheduling conflicts sometimes arise when making your 3, 4 or 6 month check-up appointment. This agreement will be null and void if you do not come in as scheduled for your check-up appointment, or if your check-up appointment varies by more than four(4) weeks from the scheduled 3, 4 or 6 month due date. Due dates for 3, 4 or 6 month appointments are determined by the dentist and dental hygienist at your previous check-up appointment.
